3J15 is destined to be a performance giant in the Angus breed with curve-bending EPDs second to none and the performance to back them up. He recently completed the Culpeper BCIA Central Bull Test competing against 119 other Angus bulls and he tied for the Top Sale Index Award. 3J15 not only exhibited excellent growth and gain ratios on test but he also scanned the 2nd largest Rib Eye Area of the entire 119 Angus bulls at 15.8" actual and a 120 ratio! His carcass excellence was also enhanced further as he ratioed 105 for IMF and he was also one of the leanest bulls on test at .18 Adj. Rib fat. 3J15 has covered all the bases with a birth weight of only 68 pounds, a 205-day adj. weaning weight of 802 pounds (Ratio 133) and a yearling weight of 1338 pounds (Ratio 128) with reliable data collected in a Central BCIA Test Station.

Great performance, Great carcass ultrasound, and finally a Great linebred pedigree. 3J15 is no genetic accident, he is built on generations of some of the breed greats. His pedigree traces 49 times to Rito N Bar and 44 times from RR Rito 707, two of the foundation sires of the Rito lineage and the performance movement. He also combines two of the top maternal matrons in the breed in his pedigree, O C C Blackcap 740C who is one of 6807's greatest daughters as well as a maternal sister to 9440 and Northern Improvement and finally the Leachman Blackbird 2036 cow, the famed mother of Rito 9M9.

Performance, Carcass, Calving Ease and Pedigree Predictability all in a moderate-framed (5.8 frame), extremely heavy muscled, easy-fleshing package. No, he is not perfect but he is as close as we have come in our 14 years in the Angus business. If you like really thick, easy-doing cattle that marble and calve unassisted then you need to look hard at 3J15. Join us in this historic opportunity to explore the genetic power of one of the next breed landmark performance sires...
